This policy is to document our processes in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), The Data Protection Act 2018, and any succeeding England and Wales legislation.
WFA collects only limited types of personal information for the purposes of letting customers and database users find information about images in the collection in order to licence usage.
Werner Forman Archive does not collect any sensitive or special personal data.
All followers and all subscribers to our mailing list have explicitly opted in and consented to receive WFA information. The GDPR lawful basis for this data processing is consent.
Subscriber email data is never shared with any third party other than IDS who host our database services. Access to the email list is limited to WFA and IDS administration and WordPress.
Email data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to the list or user database. You can opt out from our email list at any time. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe from the list.
To request access to all the data WFA holds about you (a subject access request) or request an export in a standard format (data portability), email: email@example.com.
To request deletion of some or all the data WFA holds about you (right to removal), rectify an error in it or request restrictions on our processing of it, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
